Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club has released an extended preview for the upcoming season 2 and it features additional scenes with the new characters, namely: Lanzhu Zhong (CV: Akina Himoto), Shioriko Mifune (CV: Moeka Koizumi), and Mia Taylor (Shu Uchida). The second season will begin broadcasting this April.
Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a spin-off project from the Love Live! idol franchise. Studio Sunrise (soon changing its name to Bandai Namco Filmworks) is animating the series with Tomoyuki Kawamura as the director for both seasons. Jin Tanaka is writing the scripts while Takumi Yokota is handling the character designs. The 2nd season previously announced its trailer.

Nijigasaki High School is known for their diverse subjects and the freedom they give to students. Second-year student Yu Takasaki has been turned on to the charms of school idols, so she knocks on the door of the School Idol Club with her friend, Ayumu Uehara.
