A preview trailer was released for the season finale of Lycoris Recoil on the official Aniplex YouTube channel. The upcoming episode, titled “Recoil of Lycoris”, will air on Saturday, September 24, on Crunchyroll.

The series has made a lasting impact by becoming one of the highest-rated television anime series of 2022. After last week’s episode gave us plenty of epic moments the previous 11 episodes built up to, we still have one more in store that leaves some speculation of a possible second season. Although it’s rare to see an original anime series receive a sequel, it’s still possible. Birdie Wing – Golf Girls’ Story-, an original series animated by Bandai Namco Pictures, announced a Season 2 after the first ended earlier this year and in the past, we saw franchises like PSYCHO-PASS grow. The Lycoris Recoil season finale trailer does sort of hint at the possibility of a sequel but we’ll just have to wait and see!
Lycoris Recoil is an original anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Sword Art Online‘s chief animation director, Shingo Adachi. The original story for Lycoris Recoil was created by Asaura, the same creator for the action-packed comedy series Ben-To. Among the cast are Chika Anzai as Chisato, Shion Wakayama as Takina, Ami Koshimizu as Misuki, and Kosuke Sakaki as Mika.
