Voice Actress Shion Wakayama, who is voicing Takina Inoue in the original anime Lycoris Recoil tested positive for COVID-19, her voice talent agency Himawari Theatre Group announced on August 12.
The agency released a statement on their official website on August 12 that the voice actress felt unwell the other day and took a PCR test, which turned out to be positive for COVID-19. Wakayama is currently resting in accordance with advice from a medical professional. Due to the health issue, she took a hiatus on the sixth round of Lycoris Recoil’s radio, and the agency apologized to her fans on Twitter: “We are terribly sorry to all of you who have been looking forward to it.“

Shion Wakayama was born on February 10, 1998. In addition to Takina Inoue, the 24-year-old played roles as Tomono Kojo in Akebi’s Sailor Uniform and Mai Kawai in Police in a Pod in 2022.
