The upcoming Migi to Dali anime will be premiering this October 2. Information on additional cast members has been announced as well. Geek Toys and CompTown are animating it under the direction of Mankyu, who will also be doing the series composition.
Additional cast members include:
The main cast consists of Shun Horie as Migi, Ayumu Murase as Dali, Shintaro Asanuma as Shunpei Akiyama, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Maruta Tsutsumi, and Kengo Kawanishi as Eiji Ichijo. Mamoru Inamoto will serve as assistant director, Ayumi Nishihata as character designer and chief animation director, and Hiroko Sebu will compose the music. Meanwhile, Flying Dog will be performing the anime’s opening song titled “Yuuma ga Doki.”
Migi to Dali is based on a manga title of the same name by Nami Sano, who passed away earlier this month due to cancer. The manga was serialized in Enterbrain’s seinen manga magazine Harta from July 2017 to November 2021. It is worth noting that this was Sano’s last manga work.
The manga follows the story of the twin brothers Migi and Dali who were adopted by a wealthy couple. However, the couple adopted them to play the role of a sole child named Hitori Sonoyama. The twins begin to hide their real identities and play the role as they try to blend in with the couple’s local villagers.
