The upcoming My Clueless First Friend anime unveiled its second preview trailer on Friday, featuring the opening theme song of the series titled “Alcor to Polaris” by Reina Kondo. The first preview trailer was released in January this year. The series is slated to premiere on April 9 and ABEMA will stream the anime a week in advance starting on April 2.
Studio Signpost is animating with Shigenori Kageyama as director. Takafumi Hoshikawa and Shogo Yasukawa are writing the script, Chikashi Kadekaru illustrates character designs, and Toshio Masuda is composing the music. The musical duo Kitri is performing the ending theme song titled “Kokorone” and all announced cast members include:
The anime is based on the manga series by Taku Kawamura which has been serialized by Square Enix’s shonen manga magazine Monthly Gangan Joker since May 2018. Square Enix Manga & Books is publishing the manga in English and they describe the first volume as:
