My Happy Marriage Releases Episode 10 Preview

The episode 10 preview images and staff of My Happy Marriage anime have been released on Monday. Yuki Kanazawa (Management of a Novice Alchemist episodes 2 & 7) is directing the upcoming episode with Takahito Onishi (22/7 episodes 5, 7, 9) writing the scripts. Takahiro Kawanami, Takehiro Kubota, and Yuka Kuroda are working on the storyboard. Netflix is streaming the anime and episode 10 titled “Summer Cherry Blossoms, and the Mistake” is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, September 6.

Studio Kinema Citrus (Made in Abyss) is animating the series with Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) composing the music and Shoko Yasuda (Wasteful Days of High School Girl) designing the characters. Reina Ueda voices Miyo Saimori and Kaito Ishikawa is Kiyoka Kudo.

The anime is based on the light novel written by Akumi Agitogi. The light novel was initially published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Fujimi L Bunko later acquired the title in January 2019 with illustrations provided by Tsukiho Tsukioka. Yen Press is licensing the novel in English and describes the plot as:
Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally comes of marriageable age, though, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that his previous would-be brides all fled within three days of their engagements. With no home to return to, Miyo resigns herself to her fate—and soon finds that her pale and beautiful husband-to-be is anything but the monster she expected. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, both realize the other may be their chance at finding true love and happiness.

I can talk about seiyuus for days. A connoisseur of cute girls doing cute things and fluffy romance stories always make me smile. I mostly watch slice-of-life and rom-coms with drama on the side.
