My Hero Academia Season 6 Reveals New Trailer, Confirms Fall 2022 Premiere

My Hero Academia Season 6 revealed a new trailer ahead of the October 2022 premiere. The trailer was revealed during a special event dedicated to the 2 upcoming OVA episodes that are starting theatrical screening in Japan today. Studio BONES is returning to animate the 6th season of the highly popular shonen series.

My Hero Academia Season 6 – 2nd Trailer

The staff for the 6th season, which will focus on a war between heroes and villains, includes:

  • Director: Masahiro Mukai
  • Series composition: Yosuke Kuroda
  • Character designers: Hitomi Odashima, Yoshiko Umakoshi
  • Chief director: Kenji Nagasaki
  • Music: Yuki Hayashi

My Hero Academia is a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi that has been serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The manga received an anime adaptation by studio BONES in 2016. Season 2 aired in 2017, followed by the third season in 2018. The fourth part of the anime series started airing in the fall of 2019 and ended in the winter of 2020. The fifth and latest season aired in 2021 and had a total of 25 episodes. The franchise also has 3 movies:

  • My Hero Academia: Two Heroes – 2018
  • My Hero Academia: Heroes:Rising – 2019
  • My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission – 2021
