My Hero Academia's All Might Celebrates Japan's Advancement to Knockout Phase in FIFA World Cup 2022

My Hero Academia posted an illustration of All Might on Twitter to celebrate Japan’s advancement to the Round of 16 (knockout phase of the cup) at Qatar World Cup 2022 on Friday. Japan won 2:1 against Spain in the latest game. They competed in Group E with three other countries: Germany, Costa Rica, and Spain. The Samurai Blue won two victories in the last three matches and will advance to the Round of 16 and play a game with Croatia on December 6.

The post came on Twitter with a caption as the series’ catchphrase, “Go Beyond, Plus Ultra!”. The newly-released illustration shows muscular All Might, the former No.1 Pro Hero known as the world’s Symbol of Peace (real name Toshinori Yagi) with a big smile and showing thumbs-up. Behind him are English phrases in white text on a blue background, which represent the team’s color: “You did it!! We did it!!” to express the joy of Japan’s achievement in the World Cup tournament.
