My Home Hero Episode 9 Gets Preview

My Home Hero anime has released a preview for episode 9. The new episode is set to air this May 28. After an invitation from his wife Kasen back in episode 8, Tetsuo Tosu is finally able to arrive in time for dinner. However, he still fears that either he or the watcher Kyoichi will die tomorrow. The next day, he visits the yakuza boss Takeda, and things begin to unfold at a worrying pace…

The My Home Hero anime is based on a manga of the same name by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Masashi Asaki. It is being serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine and is currently on its seventh volume. Kodansha USA has licensed the manga in English, describing it as:
Tetsuo Tosu is a typical father whose biggest worries are his job and his rebellious daughter, Reika. That is, until he finds a bruise on her face. His worst fears come true when he finds out she has a secret boyfriend…and he’s part of a crime ring that’s using her to steal her grandparent’s wealth. If that wasn’t bad enough, the thug catches Tetsuo snooping around and threatens to kill Reika as soon as she gets home.
