The upcoming NieR:Automata anime revealed a new visual for Lily

Atsumi Tanezaki (Lily):
This is Atsumi Tanezaki and I have received the opportunity of voicing Lily in TV anime “NieR:Automata Ver1.1a.” Among the reprising cast members from the game, I have the pleasure of joining this project, which makes me feel nervous to the fullest… It makes me feel every time as if I forgot to breathe, with the story and together with how difficult to play the character Lily. I will do my best so much that those who know the work and those who will be exposed to it for the first time can enjoy the work. Thank you for your support.

“An irresistible desire to dream. A dream of hope, that is.” Lily says. The new trailer is available on Aniplex’s official YouTube channel below:

The game plot is described as:
NieR:Automata tells the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their battle to reclaim the machine-driven dystopia overrun by powerful machines.
Humanity has been driven from the Earth by mechanical beings from another world. In a final effort to take back the planet, the human resistance sends a force of android soldiers to destroy the invaders. Now, a war between machines and androids rages on… A war that could soon unveil a long-forgotten truth of the world.
