Kirby will be getting a new multiplayer game titled, “Kirby’s Dream Buffet,” as announced on Nintendo’s official Twitter account. The pink puffball’s newest game is a four-player obstacle race course with various puzzles and challenges while using Kirby’s copy abilities. The game is set to release in the summer of 2022, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch eshop. More details will be announced at a later date. This also marks the second Kirby game this year, following The Forgotten Land which was launched in March.
Nintendo further describes Kirby’s Dream Buffet:
“Roll through a smorgasbord of food-themed stages in 4 rounds of 4-player fun as Kirby…who seems rounder than usual? Race through delicious obstacle courses to collect strawberries as Kirby grows. Then, turn the tides in the final round—a fruity fight atop a floating platform.”
