The song in collaboration with Vaundy is the 3rd song by Ado to be released for ONE PIECE FILM RED. Previously, the movie released its main theme song by Ado and a collaboration with Mrs. Green Apple. There will be 4 more songs featuring Ado with some other big names. They are FAKE TYPE, Hiroyuki Sawano, Yuta Orisaka and Motohiro Hata.
Ado will also provide the singing voice for Uta, Shanks’ daughter, who will be an important character in the movie. Her voice actress will be Kaori Nazuka. Uta was previously shown on a teaser visual and teaser trailer, and the movie will release in Japan on August 6, with international release set for this fall. The official synopsis for the movie:
Uta —the most beloved singer in the world. Renowned for concealing her own identity when performing, her voice has come to be described as “otherworldly.” Now, for the first time ever, Uta will reveal herself to the world at a live concert. As the venue fills with all kinds of Uta fans —excited pirates, the Navy watching closely, and the Straw Hats led by Luffy who simply came to enjoy her sonorous performance —the voice that the whole world has been waiting for is about to resound. The story begins with the shocking fact that she is Shanks’ daughter. You can watch the trailer for the anime:
