One Piece Live-Action Series Announces 2023 Premiere With Luffy Poster
The live-action adaptation of One Piece is set to be released this 2023, with Netflix exclusively streaming it worldwide. As part of the announcement, a poster featuring Luffy was released:
The live-action series will be composed of ten episodes, with Marc Jobst (The Punisher, The Witcher, Daredevil) directing it. Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) and Steven Maeda (The X-Files, CSI: Miami, Lost) on the teleplay. Original creator Eiichiro Oda is among the show’s executive producers, alongside Maeda and Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, and Matt Owens. The cast for the series includes:

Tomorrow Studios will produce the One Piece live-action series. The project has been years in the making, with the studio first announcing the production deal in 2017. In June 2022, the production team showcased the production set for the series, which is done in South Africa.
