Each volume features two episodes (except the first one, which has the 90-minute premiere) and special bonuses, including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, cast and staff commentaries, and more.

Each volume of Oshi no Ko costs ¥7,700 (around 52 USD), while the DVDs are slightly cheaper at ¥6,600 (44 USD). We previously wrote about the fourth volume, which featured Kana.

Oshi no Ko anime aired throughout the Spring 2023 anime season. It was animated by studio Doga Kobo and directed by Daisuke Hiramaki. A sequel is in the works. The anime is based on the Oshi no Ko manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) with art by Mengo Yokoyari. The manga began serialization in 2020 in the Weekly Young Jump magazine. The story focuses on the dark side of the entertainment industry. Yen Press licensed it in English.

HIDIVE is steaming the anime and describes the plot as:
Dr. Goro is reborn as the son of the young starlet Ai Hoshino after her delusional stalker murders him. Now, he wants to help his new mother rise to the top, but what can a child do about the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry?
