Quality Assurance in Another World Gets a TV Anime Adaption; Coming in Spring 2024

Prepare for a clever and wacky new addition to the isekai anime genre: Quality Assurance in Another World, based on the manga by Masamichi Sato, is getting an anime adaptation set to premiere in the spring of 2024 according to the press release from the manga’s official website. The press release also featured a stunning teaser visual of the main characters in the new upcoming anime.

A video trailer was also featured, revealing Haga as the main protagonist (Kaito Ishikawa) and his partner, Nikola (Hinaki Yano). Quality Assurance in Another World’s anime production team includes:

The manga started serialization in Kodansha’s Comic Days magazine in 2020. There are currently eight volumes out in Japan and over 80 chapters. Kodansha US licensed it in English and describes the plot as:

Nikola is just a village girl working at the inn…until the day dragons invade, and she meets Haga, a scholar of everything around him. He’s a part of an elite society called “Seeker,” created to address a series of maladies plaguing their usually peaceful world. But both Nikola and Haga have secrets they hide…ones that will change each other’s very existence…

While commenting on the announcement, author Sato was excited, saying, “I’m excited every day to see what kind of action it will be!”
