The Resident Evil: Death Island CG movie has revealed the poster visual and trailer, as well as a July 7 premiere in Japanese theaters. Eiichiro Hasumi is the CG director for the movie, while Quebico is handling the CG production. Watch the trailer:

The story for the movie is described:
Leon, an agent under the direct control of the President of the United States, is in pursuit of a vehicle of the armed group that abducted Antonio Taylor, who holds classified information. However, he is intercepted by a mysterious woman who suddenly appears, and he misses the criminals. Meanwhile, Chris, Jill, and their advisor Rebecca of the BSAA, an anti-bioterrorism organization, are in charge of a zombie outbreak with an unknown cause of infection that is occurring mainly in San Francisco.
As a result of the investigative cooperation of TerraSave, where Claire works, they discover that all of the victims of the virus had visited a certain place. It is Alcatraz, an island that was once used as a prison.
Chris and his team board a ferry to go to the island to investigate.
The official website describes Resident Evil as a series that shipped more than 130 million units worldwide and is a milestone in survival horror games. In 2021, the series was adapted into a CG drama series for the first time and topped the number of views on Netflix. The production staff of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness have gathered again to create a new CG feature film.
