Re:Zero Season 3 Anime Announced With Teaser Trailer

Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 TV anime has been officially announced, and a teaser trailer and visual have been released. The announcement comes almost exactly two years after the 2nd season ended back on March 25, 2021.

In addition to season 3, Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- also announced a new game, titled Witch’s Re:surrection.

Re:Zero Season 3 – Teaser Visual

The original novel by Tappei Nagatsuki has been ongoing on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website since April 2012. The light novel version with illustrations by Shin’ichiro Otsuka began in January 2014 and is also still ongoing, with a total of 32 published volumes and 5 side stories (as well as 8 short story collections). The series received an anime adaptation by studio White Fox in 2016, running for 25 episodes from April to September. A 2nd season followed in 2020, running for 2 parts. Part 1 aired from July to September 2020, while Part 2 aired from January to March 2021. The series also received 2 OVA episodes, as well as a series of shorts by Studio Puyukai titled Re:Zero − Starting Break Time From Zero and Re:Petit − Starting Life in Another World from Petit.

Natsuki Subaru, an ordinary high school student, is on his way home from the convenience store when he finds himself transported to another world. As he’s lost and confused in a new world where he doesn’t even know left from right, the only person to reach out to him was a beautiful girl with silver hair. Determined to repay her somehow for saving him from his own despair, Subaru agrees to help the girl find something she’s looking for…
