So I'm a Spider, So What? Final Episode Delayed

The final episode of So I’m a Spider, So What? has been delayed. Final, 24th episode, was scheduled to air on June 25th, 2021.

The official Twitter account for the series tweeted about the delay, citing production issues. They also explained that they want to give the best possible ending to the audience. There is still no news about the possible new broadcast date for the final episode of So I’m a Spider, So What.

Studio Millepensee (Berserk 2016) is animating the series. Shin Itagaki is directing, with Yuichiro Momose and Okina Baba (the author) on series composition. Kii Tanaka was in charge of character designs, while Shuji Katayama composed the music.

Aoi Yuki is voicing the protagonist. She also performed both ending songs. Sumire Uesaka, Shun Horie and Nao Touyama are also starring in the anime.

The story is based on a light novel written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu. It started serialization in 2015. YenPress licensed the light novel for the English market and describes the plot as:
I used to be a normal high school girl but in the blink of an eye, I woke up in a place I’ve never seen before and-and I was reborn as a spider?! How could something that’s nothing more than a tiny spider (that’s me) possibly survive in literally the worst dungeon ever? Are there no rules? There should be some rules! Who the hell is responsible for this? SHOW YOUR FACE!
