Anime Corner held a poll to decide the best male and female seiyuu this spring anime season of 2022. Over 20,000 people participated in the polls which featured 57 voice actors. The polls were held from June 18 to July 4 and here are the results for the spring 2022 seiyuu of the season.

Saori Hayami claims the title of the best female seiyuu this season by voicing a handful of characters, particularly Yor from Spy x Family and Chizuru Nakamura from To Become a Real Heroine! The Unpopular Girl and the Secret Task. She finally placed first after being a runner-up in the fall 2021 rankings. Meanwhile, Aoi Koga who is known for voicing Kaguya Shinomiya and Komi Shoko took over the voice of Anya Forger, Atsumi Tanezaki by a small margin.

The best male seiyuu of spring 2022 goes to Takuya Eguchi who is the voice behind Loid Forger from Spy x Family and Ken Shibasaki from To Become a Real Heroine! The Unpopular Girl and the Secret Task. This is also the first time that the voice actor made it to the top 10 in the seiyuu polls of Anime Corner. Similarly, Makoto Furukawa, the voice of Miyuki Shirogane takes second place followed by his co-cast in Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic, Ryota Suzuki who voices Yu Ishigami.
The spring anime season of 2022 was filled with amazing shows and talented casts. From a series that has a roster of well-known seiyuus to a show packed with rookies and a mix in between, this season surely has a lot to offer. The spring season may be over, but there’s more to look forward to in the summer season and beyond.
