Stars Align Might Get a Sequel in the Future

Kazuki Akane, the “Stars Align” director, posted on his Twitter that as of now there is no “Stars Align” movie, but he will try his best to show it to the fans someday. about the production for the “Stars Align sequel!

In his Tweet, he stated that he cannot find any company that is willing to fund the production for the “Stars Align” sequel. Even though, he is still planning to make a sequel for the anime! So there is still a possibility that we might get to see our favorite characters once again!

Additionally, Akane said that the 13th episode will make the viewers understand the Special Fan Movie’s new footage more. It’s set two years after the series finale. The director also did mention that he has no plans for a full-length feature movie for the series.

If you didn’t know, Stars Align is an original TV Anime from studio 8bit (“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime“, “IS: Infinite Stratos“, and “Grisaia no Kajitsu“). The anime had 12 episodes and was released in the Fall 2019 season.

It is a sports drama with beautiful animation. In addition, the director, Kazuki Akane, was the director for the “Code Geass: Akito the Exiled” trilogy film, and was the original creator for “Geneshaft“.
