That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond (Tensura) anime introduced a new character called Violet, along with her voice actress Miyu Tomita. Studio 8bit animated the film adaptation, which premiered on November 25, 2022.
The official Twitter account of the anime series posted an image of the character on Thursday with a link to the official website, captioned as “We have an announcement about ‘The Being’“. The official website shows two screenshots with Diablo and Violet, introduced as a new character who has a key role in the film. Like Diablo, she is a Demon Primordial (Purple).
Miyu Tomita, known as the voice actress of Miko Iino in Kaguya-sama: Love is War and Gabriel White Tenma in Gabriel DropOut, made a comment on the new role Violet in the Tensura anime film:
This is Miyu Tomita. I have the pleasure of acting as Violet. I didn’t even imagine that I would be able to have received a role of this kind of position as this character…! It makes me really happy! As she is one of the Demon Primordials, I have voiced the character based on demonic features like cruelty and coldness, but also with small, adorable vibes to remind her appearance. I’d really apprecite it if you enjoy it at theaters! Thank you for your support!
The voice actress quote-tweeted the above-mentioned post from the anime’s official Twitter account, and a part of it expressed her nervousness: “Since all the viewers have already listened to my voice at theaters, I’ve been nervous waiting for this day!“.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was originally Fuse’s light novel series running on Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel service. It is currently being published with art by Mitz Vah under MICRO MAGAZINE’s novel label GC NOVELS. The Scarlet Bond film is Tensura anime series’ latest anime adaptation animated by Studio 8bit under Yasuhito Kikuchi’s direction based on a new story the author wrote.
