Tensura: Scarlet Bond Movie Gets International Release Dates

Crunchyroll has announced the international release dates for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond (Tensura), which premiered in Japan on November 25. They’ve also released an English-subbed trailer:

Tickets for North America are now on sale at slime-movie.com. The film will be available in both Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English. The international release dates for the Tensura: Scarlet Bond movie are as follows:

  • January 18 in the United Kingdom and Ireland
  • January 19 in Australia
  • January 20 in the United States and Canada
  • January 26 in Mexico
  • Additional 2023 dates in the Middles East and additional territories in Europe to be announced soon

The run time is 110 minutes, and Crunchyroll describes the synopsis:
A long-running conspiracy is swirling over a mysterious power wielded by the Queen in Raja, a small country west of Tempest. When a slime who evolved into a Demon Lord named Rimuru Tempest crosses paths with Hiiro, a survivor of the Ogre race, an incredible adventure packed with new characters begins. The power of bonds will be put to the test!

Tensura is an anime adaption of the light novel by Fuse. The anime adaptation by 8bit has 48 episodes split across 2 TV seasons. Season 2 was voted as the 6th best 2021 anime of the year by our fans with votes from over 100,000+ people. It also has a spin-off anime titled The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which adapted one of the manga spin-off series. A 3rd TV anime season was also announced.
