That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Reveals "Walpurgis" Cast and Trailer

On August 21, 2021, the live event program of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” announced new additions to their cast. The cast will play characters in the new “Walpurgis” story arc. In addition, they also released a new promotional video for the arc.

The new “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” cast includes the remaining unintroduced Demon Lords in Walpurgis. Masaaki Mizunaka will play as Demon Lord and vampire Roy Valentin, the “Bloody Lord”. Yūsuke Kobayashi will play as Demon Lord Dino, the “Sleeping Ruler” of the Fallen race. Rikiya Koyama will also portray Demon Lord Dagruel, the “Earthquake” of the Titan race. Lastly, Akira Ishida as Guy Crimson, the oldest Demon Lord known as the “Lord of Darkness”.

Furthermore, the official website released five preview images and a promotional video for the new story arc. This is the most awaited part of the season where Rimuru and Clayman finally confront each other.

The promotional video teases the commencement of the Demon Lord’s Banquet, “Walpurgis.” Rimuru joins in with the Ten Demon Lords such as “Sky Queen” Frey (Sayaka Ohara), “Platinum Saber” Leon (Jun Fukuyama), “Labyrinth” Ramiris (Anzu Haruno), “Destroyer” Milim (Rina Hidaka), and “Marionette Master” Clayman (Takehito Koyasu).

However, the promotional video is available only in Japan. As of writing, there are no English subtitles available yet. If you’re in Japan, you can watch the trailer below:

About That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” or “Tensura” for short, is an anime adaption of the light novel by Fuse. It follows the story of how Mikami Satoru reincarnates to another world as a slime monster! He eventually obtains the name Rimuru and begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races. 8bit studio is handling the animation production.
