The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 has been officially announced along with a visual teaser on Saturday. It was revealed immediately after the end of the first season’s finale. TOHO Animation and OLM animated The Apothecary Diaries series under the direction of Norihiro Naganuma, which ran from October 2023 to March 2024 with a total of 24 episodes. The Apothecary Diaries Light Novel Unveils Volume 15 Cover With Maomao and Jinshi
The Apothecary Diaries is a Japanese light novel series written by Natsu Hyuga and illustrated by Toko Shino. Shunfunotomo’s Hero Bunko currently publishes the light novel series, J-Novel Club publishes the digital English version, and Square Enix publishes the novels in print.
The series also has two manga adaptations: the manga series of the same name by Itsuki Nanao, illustrated by Nekokurage on Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan; and “Kusuriya no Hitorigoto: Maomao no Kokyu Nazotoki Techo (The Apothecary Diaries: The Palace Cloister Mystery-Solving Notebook of Maomao)” by Minoji Kurata on Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday Gene-X.

Maomao lived a peaceful life with her apothecary father. Until one day, she’s sold as a lowly servant to the emperor’s palace. But she wasn’t meant for a compliant life among royalty.
