The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses Reveals Cast, Teaser Visual and Preview

The upcoming The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses (Megami no Cafe Terrace) anime revealed the cast of the series along with a teaser visual and trailer on Thursday. Masaaki Mizunaka will be voicing the protagonist Hayato Kusakabe while the cast of the waitresses of the cafe consists of Azumi Waki as Shiragiku Ono, Aya Yamane as Riho Tsukishima, Sayumi Suzushiro as Ami Tsuruga, Asami Seto as Akane Hououji, and Ruriko Aoki as Ouka Makuzawa. Studio Tezuka Productions will be animating the series and it is slated to premiere in April 2023.

The anime adaptation was previously announced in September. Satoshi Kuwabara will be directing the series and Keiichiro Ochi is supervising the series composition. Masatsune Noguchi is doing the character designs while Shu Kanematsu and Miki Sakurai are composing the music.

The TV anime is adapted from the manga written by Koji Seo and its publication started in February 2021. Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine is serializing the series and it currently has 7 volumes in circulation. Kodansha US is licensing the manga in English and they described it as:
When Hayato’s grandmother passed, he planned to sell her rundown café on the shore—not realizing that it was also home to five young women who call themselves her family?! Their desperation to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a shot…but even their best intentions might not be enough to make it work! And can he even work with these five unruly women? No matter what, he’s got his work cut out for him! A fun new romcom by the author of Fuuka and Suzuka!
