The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 revealed the preview images for the finale (episode 13 of season 2, episode 25 overall) on Tuesday. The final episode titled “The love between you and me” (unofficial) is slated to premiere on Sunday, March 31, and will be available to stream on HIDIVE and Bilibili.
Additionally, the series teased in Anime Japan 2024 that it will have a tearful finale with more preview images. The website describes the episode as follows:
The drama adaptation of “Kimioku” is holding auditions on the same day as the last day of the school trip. Yamada, thinking of Ichikawa, was about to give up on the audition for her favorite manga. Ichikawa, who learned of this, decided to meet Yamada and talk to her. However, for some reason, he is now in the futon of the girls’ room. If the others find out, it will be a big uproar. How will Ichikawa escape from this situation? And will he be able to tell Yamada his feelings!?
Studio Shin-Ei Animation is animating the sequel with Hiroaki Akagi as director. Jukki Hanada is writing the scripts, Masato Katsumata is designing the characters, and Kensuke Ushio is composing the music. Atarayo performs the opening song “Boku was…” and the ending song “Koishiteru Jibun sura Aiserun da” is sung by Kohana Lam. The two theme song artists previously released an anime music video for their respective songs. The cast includes:
The anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai. It started its serialization in Weekly Shōnen Champion in March 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the title in English and they describe it as:
