The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 anime previewed the upcoming episode 8 on Tuesday. The episode is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, February 24. The anime’s official website describes it as follows:
The end of the school year has come, and by the time they reach the third year, they may end up in separate classes. After school, Ichikawa is alone in class reminiscing when Yamada calls him into the gym. When he shows up, he finds Yamada playing basketball by herself, challenging Ichikaa to a 1 on 1 game with the rule that the loser does whatever the winner says. Studio Shin-Ei Animation is animating the sequel with Hiroaki Akagi as director. Jukki Hanada is in charge of the scripts and series composition. Masato Katsumata is the character designer, with Kensuke Ushio on the music. The main cast of the duo consists of Hina Yomiya as Anna Yamada and Shun Horie as Kyotaro Ichikawa. The first season premiered in April 2023.

The anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai. It started its serialization in Weekly Shōnen Champion in March 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the title in English and they describe the story as follows:
Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!
