The upcoming season 2 of The Dangers in My Heart revealed a new trailer along with January 6 premiere date. Shin-Ei is animating the sequel. Hina Yomiya is once again voicing Anna Yamada while Shun Horie is Kyotaro Ichikawa.
Atarayo will perform the opening theme song, titled “Boku wa…,” while singer Kohana Lam is performing the ending song, titled “Koi Shiteru Jibun Sura Aiserunda.” The first season of The Dangers in My Heart anime premiered in April of this year with Hiroaki Akagi as director. Jukki Hanada wrote the scripts and Masato Katsumata was in charge of the character designs. Kensuke Ushio composed the music The staff is returning for the sequel. Reina Ueda and Yuka Iguchi will be joining the cast.
The anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai. Seven Seas Entertainment is licensing the title in English. HIDIVE is streaming the anime with English subtitles and describes the plot as:
Fascinated by the macabre, Kyotaro fantasizes about acting on his twisted thoughts to the detriment of his classmates. His heart was dark until an encounter with Anna lit a spark within it in a classic tale of boy meets girl.
The recently announced spin-off was scheduled to stream later today on Prime Video but has been delayed.
