Season 2 of The Fire Hunter anime is set to premiere on January 14 next year. A new trailer has been released alongside the announcement. Studio.MD is animating the series.
Initial details on the anime’s second season were released in October this year, with the staff and cast returning for the series. The first season of The Fire Hunter aired from January to March this year for 10 episodes. Junji Nishimura directed the series with Mamoru Oshii doing both the series composition and scriptwriting. Takuya Saito did the character designs, as well as serving as chief animation director alongside Kazuchika Kise and Toshihisa Kaiya.

The Fire Hunter is a fantasy novel series written by Rieko Hinata and illustrated by Akihiro Yamada. Holp Shuppan has published four volumes between December 2018 and September 2020.
