The Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2 Announced

Season 2 of The Saga of Tanya the Evil is in production. The confirmation came in an Ameba TV special, which aired earlier today. The official Twitter for the series retweeted a number of posts announcing the news, including those from the author.

The release date for The Saga of Tanya the Evil season 2 is still unknown. Studio NUT is producing the anime. They also animated season 1, which aired back in 2017. A movie sequel came out in 2019 and was also animated by the same studio.

Crunchyroll licensed the anime and describes the plot as:
It is June of the year CE 1923. A young girl with blond hair and blue eyes, Tanya Degurechaff, has entered the final curriculum of the Imperial Military Academy and is training at the third patrol line in the northern military district, the Norden Theater, as part of her service to the force. Her training, the first step toward a brilliant career as an aviation mage, should have gone off without a hitch… but things took an unexpected turn.
