Tokyo Ghoul Creator's Jack Jeanne Game Is Getting Released

The latest creation from Sui Ishida (Tokyo Ghoul), Jack Jeanne, is coming this March.

After a long delay, the creator of the popular anime series Tokyo Ghoul, Sui Ishida, and Japanese publishing company Broccoli will be releasing an opera-themed otome game. Jack Jeanne’s scheduled release is on March 18 for the Nintendo Switch in Japan. Below is a trailer of the game features and design.

Official Trailer

Broccoli released a trial version of the game last January 28. Moreover, the game is voiced including the protagonist, Kisa Tachibana.

I personally like this since most of the ones I have played don’t voice the player’s character. In the game, they also include a mini-game with the Nintendo Switch controls within the story.

If you are a fan of rhythm game, then this might be a game you would want to check out. Not to mention, the game has detailed and beautiful character designs. Players can also enjoy the 3D characters performing behind the rhythm game.

In case you do not know what otome games are:

An otome game (乙女ゲーム, otome gēmu, literally “maiden game”), sometimes contracted to otoge, is a story-based video game that is targeted towards women. Generally one of the goals, besides the main plot goal, is to develop a romantic relationship between the female player character and one of several male and/or female characters. This genre is most established in Japan, and is mostly made up of visual novels and simulation games; particularly dating sims and life simulation games.
