On June 4, 2021, the official website for the upcoming “Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy” anime released a new trailer. Moreover, the video contains the opening song of the anime, titled “Gamble” by Syudou. In case you missed it, a promotional video for the show was also released in April 2021.

In case you didn’t know, “Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy” is a Japanese light novel by Kei Azumi. AlphaPolis is still publishing the novel and currently has 15 volumes. Later on, the same publisher also published a manga adaptation and currently has 8 volumes.
Additionally, an anime adaptation it will premiere on July 7, 2021. Shinji Ishihira will be directing the anime and studio C2C will take care of its animation.

High school student Makoto Misumi is called into a fantasy world by the god Tsukuyomi, in order to be a hero. However, the Goddess ruling the world isn’t as thrilled to have him there, and kicks him to the edge of the world. Tsukuyomi declares that Makoto is free to find his own way after Makoto is abandoned by the other Goddess.
