Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte anime released preview images for episode 3 along with the synopsis. The next episode is scheduled to be broadcast on January 20. Tezuka Productions is animating the adaptation, which has been broadcasting since January 6, 2023.
The new episode is titled “The Ribbon, the Upperclassman, and Feelings of Love.” Endo (Kaito Ishikawa) and Kobayashi (Kana Hanazawa) are committed to providing live commentary on the otome game “A Magical Romance,” and they also watch a high school baseball game on TV. He has a past that he gave up on the path of baseball due to an injury. Kobayashi’s words give him a chance to have some courage, and he strives again for “the happiest ending beyond the happiest” of the characters like Lieselotte. Meanwhile, in the game, Lieselotte (Tomori Kusunoki) goes into tsundere mode as always and it starts to attract Fiene’s attention.
Studio Tezuka Productions is animating the Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte anime is based on Suzu Enoshima’s light novel of the same name with art by Eihi. KADOKAWA’s label KADOKAWA Books published the light novel with a total of two volumes in 2019 and an additional volume on December 9, 2022, titled “Disc EX”, a sequel that compiles already-released short stories and newly drawn stories, events after the conclusion. The series manga adaptation by Rumiwo Sakaki is ongoing and released the latest, 5th volume in August 2022. The next, 6th volume is scheduled to be published on February 1, 2023.
J Novel Club licensed the light novel for English releases and describes the plot as:
One day, Crown Prince Sieg hears the Voices of the Gods out of the blue. Apparently, his fiancée Lieselotte is a “tsun de rais” villainess destined to meet her demise…and her sharp tongue is just a way of covering up her embarrassment. The prince can hardly contain himself after discovering Lieselotte’s adorable hidden side. Little does he know, the heavenly beings that bestowed this knowledge unto him are actually high schoolers! Can he use their divine prophecy (let’s play commentary) to save his betrothed and avoid a Bad End?!
