Voice Actors Mikako Komatsu and Tomoaki Maeno Expecting First Child

Voice actors Mikako Komatsu and Tomoaki Maeno announced on their respective social media that they are expecting their first child. The voice actress posted the announcement on her Instagram while her husband and fellow voice actor, Tomoaki Maeno shared the news on his Twitter account. The couple publicly announced their marriage on May 12, 2020.

In the announcements, they both expressed their gratitude to everyone who continues to support them. Mikako happily reports that she’s in a stable stage of pregnancy. The voice actress also says that she will continue doing her best in her work while minding her health. Meanwhile, Tomoaki is both excited and anxious about becoming a parent.

Fans of both artists and a few voice actors congratulated the couple on the news. Yuki Kaji and Ayaka Suwa replied to Tomoaki’s tweet with the former wishing the future parents happy days ahead. Meanwhile, Yuka Iguchi excitedly shared her appreciation of Mikako’s Instagram post.

Mikako Komatsu is known for voicing Maki Zenin from Jujutsu Kaisen, Tsugumi Seishirou from Nisekoi, Saika Totsuka from My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, and Yume from Grimgar: Ashes and Illusions, and child version of Senku from Dr. Stone, while some of Tomoaki Maeno’s roles are Veldora Tempest in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Hak in Yona of the Dawn, Zhongli in Genshin Impact, and Arc in Skeleton Knight in Another World.
