Voice actress Miku Ito updated her Twitter on Saturday after a report about her private life surfaced online, saying that she was sorry to have bothered everyone with details of her private matters. The article published in Bunshun, a Japanese tabloid, claimed that the voice actress is semi-cohabiting with Japanese model Chihiro Okutani. In her tweet, the artist sincerely apologizes for any trouble caused by the situation and adds that she will continue striving forward as an actress and an artist, and hopes for continued support.
Ito’s agency, Style Cube, released a statement on the same day about the incident, asking everyone to refrain from engaging in negative behaviors such as stalking and prying into the personal lives of their talents. The agency added that they may be forced to call the police or take legal action in some cases if such action continues.
