Kousei Roudou Shou, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, of the Japanese government announced on May 12 a collaboration between the Ministry and SUNRISE INC. to combat the spread of COVID-19 by encouraging the young to wash their hands with a poster of a school idol group Aqours from the company’s work Lovelive! Sunshine!!.
The poster is available for free to raise awareness of the importance regarding prevention of COVID-19.
The school idol group, Aqours, consists of three high school girls; Takami Chika, Sakurauchi Riko, and Watanabe You.
“Handwashing” and “Cough Etiquette including wearing a mask” are fundamental measures to prevent spread of infectious diseases including COVID-19.
It may be possible that you get the virus on your hands by touching a surface or object like a door knob. Therefore, remember to wash your hands frequently, the right way at the right times, when you get back home from outside, before and after you cook, before you eat, and so on.
Be sure to take care of these things as well:
・Keep your nails short
・Remove your ring and watch when washing your hands
Let’s follow the steps of handwashing shown in the poster and keep your hands and mind clean!
