WATATEN: an Angel Flew Down to Me: Precious Friends movie revealed the official key visual. Studio Doga Kobo (My Senpai is Annoying) is producing the film which begins screening theatrically in Japan next year.

The main cast of the 12-episode anime series will be coming back to voice the loveable characters. Maria Sashide will be back as Hana Shirosaki along with Reina Ueda as Miyako Hoshino, while Rika Nagae is lending her voice to Hinata Hoshino once again. Other cast members include:
The main anime staff is also be coming back for the film. Daisuke Hiramaki will be directing the anime, while Hiromi Nakagawa will be in charge of the character design. In addition, Yuka Yamada is writing the script with Flying Dog on the music.
WATATEN: an Angel Flew Down to Me is a comedy manga by Nanatsu Mukunoki, that has been serialized in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine since November 2016. The series, which also received a TV anime adaptation in 2019, currently has 9 volumes.
Miyako Hoshino, a college student, is shy around strangers. When Miyako’s younger sister Hinata brings home her classmate Hana Shirosaki, she is charmed by her cuteness and she begins dressing her up in cosplay in exchange for sweets.
