Wataten: An Angel Flew Down to Me – Precious Friends movie has revealed a new key visual which features Hana Shirosaki watching the fireworks display while wearing a yukata. The movie will premiere in the Fall of 2022 in Japan.
The movie has previously unveiled a key visual and 2022 premiere. Studio Doga Kobo is in charge of the production and the TV anime staff will return for the movie. Daisuke Hiramaki will act as the director while Yuka Yamada is supervising the script. Hiromi Nakagawa will be handling the character design and Flying Dog is on the music production.

The Wataten: An Angel Flew Down to Me anime is an adaptation of the four-panel comedy manga written and illustrated by Nanatsu Mukunoki. Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine has been serializing the manga since November 2016. The anime adaptation started airing in January 2019. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime series and they describe the plot as:
Miyako is a shy college student who is also an otaku. One day she happens to meet some angelic grade school kids! When Miyako sees her little sister’s new friend Hana-chan, Miyako’s heart won’t stop racing! Miyako tries to get along with them but struggles… A sketch comedy all about trying to get along with the super cute girl is about to begin
