The upcoming Wataten: An Angel Flew Down to Me – Precious Friends movie has revealed its second trailer. The latest PV features all the cast of the slice-of-life series. The movie will premiere in Japanese theaters on October 14.
The Wataten movie previously revealed a trailer and three key visuals: Miyako having snacks together with the five kids, Hana Shirosaki watching the fireworks while wearing a yukata, and all five friends spending a hot summer day together.
Studio Doga Kobo is producing the movie with Daisuke Hiramaki (Oshi no Ko) as the director. Yuka Yamada is writing the script while Hiromi Nakagawa will be handling the character design and Flying Dog is on the music production. The cast from the TV anime will reprise their roles for the movie:
The TV anime of Wataten: An Angel Flew Down to Me adaptation is from the four-panel comedy manga written and illustrated by Nanatsu Mukunoki. Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine has been serializing the manga since November 2016. The anime adaptation started airing in January 2019.
