Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, the sequel to Rumiko Takahashi’s InuYasha, will return for a Part 2. The final episode of its Part 1 teased that a sequel production is ongoing. Furthermore, the illustration features Towa Higurashi.
In addition, creator Rumiko Takahashi comments that Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Part 2 will revolve on the whereabouts of the parent generation.
Thus, it looks like we will be able to see what really happened to Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, as well as Shippo (the protagonists of InuYasha) during the time skip.
The Anime started airing in Japan from October 3, 2020 until March 20, 2021. The story of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon revolves on the adventures of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru’s daughters after the happenings in InuYasha the Final Act.
InuYasha is one of Rumiko Takahashi’s manga series. It is adapted to a 167-episode TV series which aired from 2000 to 2004, animated by studio Sunrise. Also, it has 4 movies and a 26-episode sequel, InuYasha the Final Act aired from 2009 to 2010.
The daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha set out on a journey transcending time! Towa and Setsuna are Half-demon twins and separated by a forest fire in feudal Japan.
Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family.
The tunnel reopened after ten years allowing Towa to go back to her time, as well as reunite again with her sister who is now a demon slayer and working under the supervision of Kohaku.
But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister. Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past.
