The highly anticipated 3rd anime of the Yuki Yuna is a Hero series is scheduled to air in October 2021 with The Great Full Blossom Arc. Studio Gokumi is once again in charge of the animation, after previously working on the original series and The Hero Chapter sequel.
Seiji Kishi (Assassination Classroom, Angel Beats) is returning to direct season 3, with Takahiro Sakai once again on character designs. MONACA and Keiichi Okabe are working on the music for the series.
The official Twitter page has also revealed a new key visual for the 3rd anime:
Yuki Yuna is a Hero follows the story of a middle-schooler named Yuki who leads an ordinary life but is a member of a “Hero Club”, that focuses on fighting mysterious beings, who threaten to destroy humanity. It is an original work which originally premiered in 2014, with a season 2 that followed in 2017.
