Episode 19 of 86: Eighty-Six has been delayed due to production issues. The episode, originally set to air on November 27, will instead air on December 4. The news comes just 2 weeks after episode 18 postponement. In addition, there will be no new episode on December 11.
A TV special titled “If it’s worth dying for” will air instead of the episode. The staff thanked the fans for understanding and apologized for the delay.
86: Eighty-Six anime is currently airing its second cour, which continues the story that started in the Spring of 2021. A-1 Pictures is animating the series, with Koshimasa Ishii as the director. Tetsuya Kawakami is the character designer, while Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano composed the OST. Toshiya Oono oversaw the series composition.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season and is also currently streaming the continuation. Since 86: Eighty-Six episode 18 still isn’t available with subtitles, there has been no comment on the episode 19 delay.
The story is based on a light novel by Asato Asato. Shirabi illustrated the light novel, which started publishing in 2017 in the Dengeki Bunko imprint. Yen Press licensed it in English.
