The preview for episode 22 of 86 Eighty-Six was released on Friday via the official Twitter account. Fans of the series had to wait three months for episode 22 to be released due to tv scheduling issues. And now, after episode 21 ended on a nail-biting cliffhanger, 86 Eighty-Six is finally back!
The preview video released for episode 22 focuses heavily on Shin—no surprise given episode 22’s title is “Shin“. In one of the preview images, we even see Shin back at the original Spearhead Squadron base and another of him talking to Kiriya. The anime has adapted the light novel perfectly so far and the staff over at A-1 Pictures looks to end season one as they originally planned. A recap episode of everything that has happened so far aired last Saturday on Crunchyroll in anticipation of the anime’s return this week.
Episode 22 of 86 Eighty-Six will stream on Saturday, March 12, on Crunchyroll at 12:30 pm EST.
