A Special Visual Marks the End of The Seven Deadly Sins Anime

The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement finished airing in Japan on June 23, 2021, after 24 episodes. The final episode also marks the end of The Seven Deadly Sins anime series. A special visual to mark the occasion has been revealed.

Previously it was announced that the final season of the popular anime series will come to Netflix worldwide on June 28th, 2018.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement is the 4th season of the series. However, Netflix lists an OVA series as season 2, making this the 5th season on their website. A-1 Pictures animated the first two seasons, while Studio DEEN took over for seasons 3 and 4.

The Seven Deadly Sins manga, written by Nakaba Suzuki, ended last year, after 8 years and 346 chapters.

The plot follows Elizabeth, a princess of Liones Kingdom, who sets out to look for the legendary group of fighters called The Seven Deadly Sins. She hopes they will be able to help her save her father and his kingdom, but the first Sin she meets is quite unusual. He’s short, owns a bar, and has a talking pig as a pet. They set out on an adventure to find the other Sins and save the kingdom.

The Seven Deadly Sins won’t be ending completely with the final season of anime. A sequel movie, titled Cursed by Light, is premiering on July 2nd, 2021. It will serve as a continuation of the story. Also, sequel manga, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse started serialization this January
