Akuyaku Reijo Tensei Oji-san – Volume 6 Cover & Anime Announcement

The Akuyaku Reijo Tensei Oji-san anime announcement came with the release of Volume 6 on January 3, 2024. The series is written and illustrated by Ueyama and has been published in Shonen Gahosha since March 2020. The manga’s title can be translated as The Middle-Aged Man that Reincarnated as a Villainess or The Old Man Reincarnated as a Villainess.

Akuyaku Reijo Tensei Oji-san joins the rising trend of villainess-based protagonists. A recent interview with Solo Leveling publisher D&C Webtoon biz revealed, alongside Solo Leveling: Ragnarok‘s webtoon adaptation, that 8 of their 10 most popular works featured “Villainess” in the title. The manga series is currently unlicensed. The first volume is described on Amazon:
Kenzaburo Tondabayashi, a 52-year-old serious civil servant, gets into a traffic accident. Before he knew it, he found myself in a world that resembled a school-based otome game… He was reincarnated as Grace, the daughter of the Marquis de Auvergne, the most overbearing girl in the school!?
A highly anticipated new work that won 4th place in the manga category at the Next Manga Awards 2020!
