Arifureta Season 2 Sets January 2022 Release Date, Gets New Visual and Trailer

“Arifureta” Season 2 (Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest) has finally gotten a release date! It has been set to January 2022, and the official Twitter shared a new key visual and trailer. The series had its first season end back in February 2020, and although the Arifureta Season 2 was quickly announced, there was no mention of a release date. In addition, the production for the second season will be handled by studios asread and MOTHER, and it’s worth mentioning that asread worked with White Fox on the first part. The synopsis of the story goes:

Hajime Nagumo and his high school class are suddenly summoned to a fantastical land as heroes. But while most of his classmates have powerful stats and abilities, Hajime does not. Underappreciated and unprepared, he tumbles into the depths of a monster-infested dungeon where voracity and sacrifice are his only options. To thrive in this savage world, he’ll have no choice but to welcome the abyss.

There’s still a while until Arifureta’s 2nd season premieres and the exact release date will probably also be revealed at a later date. For now, we can just enjoy the new art and trailer.
