Makoto Hoshino (King’s Raid) is directing Banished From the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside anime, while Studio Flad (Dame x Prince) and Wolfsbane (Peter Grill) are animating it. Funimation has been streaming the series since October 6, 2021, and currently has 8 episodes.
The anime is based on Zappon’s Banished From the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside light novel series. Kadokawa Shoten is serializing it since June 2018, and it currently has 8 volumes in circulation. The same publisher is also publishing a manga adaptation, which as of now, has 6 volumes available.
