Blue Archive is a role-playing mobile gacha game developed by Yostar Japan and the Korean game studio Nexon, a subsidiary Nexon Games (formerly known as NAT Games). It was initially released in Japan on February 4, 2021, while Nexon published the global version on November 8, 2021. The game is free-to-play with optional in-app purchases. A TV anime adaptation was announced during the 2nd-anniversary special program.
The story of Blue Archive takes place in Kivotos, an academy city that was established by the union of thousands of academies. The players of the game take the role of a sensei who will guide students in the Federal Investigation Club, otherwise known as Schale. As the city’s newest club, they receive requests from the General Student Council to assist them in order to keep the city of Kivotos away from danger.
