Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki Episode 7 is out. In the last episode, the fans were able to see that Tomozaki can be a reliable guy. He helped Minami prepare for the upcoming Student Council Election. Minami is fighting for the role of the president and her foe is none other than Hinami. Tomozaki and Minami knew that Hinami is a tough opponent, so Tomozaki thought of a way on how to fight against Hinami. He supervised Minami’s flyers, techniques and he even wrote her speech. After their speech, Minami saw Hinami walking together with Mizusawa. She told Tomozaki that the rumors that Hinami and Mizusawa are dating might be true. Tomozaki reacted to what she said but he chose to remain composed. After that, they gave their best until the day of the election came. In the end, Hinami was the victor anyway. Tomozaki and Hinami resumed their session in the old sewing room, and Hinami told Tomozaki to date Fuuka. It seems that Tomozaki is ready for a real date because he is already showing the results of his efforts.
As the strongest player of the game Tackfam, Tomozaki thought of a way how he can beat Hinami. Since Hinami is almost perfect in real life, Tomozaki figured out that the only way to fight Hinami is for Minami to be good at responding to the situations in adlib. That is one of Hinami’s strong points. So, in order to beat her, Minami must catch up, and the student body will see her the way they see Hinami. Tomozaki planned a speech where Minami needed to act as if someone was interrupting her speech. He set up a recorded voice and played it in the middle of her speech, Minami dealt with it and ended her speech. She caught the attention of the whole student body and even Hinami because of that. Tomozaki was able to come up with this plan because he is also using an adlib combo to defeat Hinami in Tackfam.
Tomozaki agreed that he must date Fuuka. Unlike before, he is now thinking about every detail that is happening around him. He even noticed that Minami is inviting him to eat lunch together, even though Minami did not say it directly. And now, while in the library, he is thinking carefully about how to ask her. Fuuka noticed that Tomozaki is restless, so she talked to him. Then, Tomozaki asked her to go out and watch a film by Fuuka’s favorite writer, Andi. She accepted the offer. With that, Tomozaki can finally reach his goal to go out with a girl that is not Hinami. After that, Tomozaki reads a lot of Andi books in preparation for their date.
Tomozaki is staying late in the school library because of reading Andi’s books. When he is about to go home, he sees Tama alone. Tomozaki approaches her casually and takes the initiative to talk to her. He found out that Tama is watching a race between Hinami and Minami. She also said that she is alone because she was not friendly with anyone and her only friends are Minami and Hinami. Tama also confessed that Hinami helped Minami to be able to talk to her. Thus, the three of them became friends. Tomozaki has definitely improved a lot, considering that a girl can even tell him her secret now.

Expert gamer Tomozaki Fumiya doesn’t exactly fit in, but he wishes he did. With no written rules for success and gameplay that doesn’t work in his favor, the real world seems impossible for someone like him. But, like any noob, all he really needs are some strategies and a seasoned player like Aoi Hinami to help him. Hopefully with her guidance, Tomozaki will gain the experience he needs.
