Crunchyroll announced a handful of new anime on Monday that the service will be streaming in the upcoming months. Check out the full list of upcoming series below:
The Apothecary Diaries
The Apothecary Diaries is set to release on Crunchyroll in 2023 (excluding Asia). The series will be co-animated by studio OLM and TOHO Animation Studio. Norihiro Naganuma is directing the anime and handling the series composition.
Black Butler
A continuation of Black Butler was announced during Anime Expo 2023. Black Butler is set to release worldwide on Crunchyroll (worldwide excluding Japan) in 2024. Kenjiro Okada will direct the anime at studio Cloverworks.
Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki 2nd Stage
Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki 2nd Stage will have a total of 13 episodes and is set to release on Crunchyroll in January 2024 (excluding Asia, Bhutan and India (non-exclusive), and Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan (exclusive for Russian, non-exclusive for other languages). Studio Project No. 9 is returning to animate the series along with the main staff from the first season.
The Faraway Paladin Season 2
The Faraway Paladin: The Lord of Rust Mountain (Season 2) is set to release on Crunchyroll (worldwide excluding Asia) in October 2023. Studios OLM and SUNRISE BEYOND will animate the upcoming season. Akira Iwanaga is directing the season with Tatsuya Takahashi handling the series composition.
Golbin Slayer Season 2
Goblin Slayer Season 2 is set to release on Crunchyroll in 2023 for the following regions: United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Latin America, and Russian Speaking Territories. Studio LIDENFILMS will be animating the new season.
I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability
I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince is set to release on Crunchyroll (worldwide excluding Asia) in April 2024. Studio Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab will animate the new series. Fairouz Ai (Power – Chainsaw Man) will voice the main role of Grim.
The Kingdoms of Ruin
The Kingdoms of Ruin is set to release on Crunchyroll (worldwide excluding Asia) in October 2023. Keitaro Motonaga is directing the series at studio Yokohama Animation Lab with Takamitsu Kono handling the series composition.
To Be Hero X
No release date for To Be Hero X has been announced at this time. Haoling Li will be directing To Be Hero X at studio BeDream and will stream on Crunchyroll (worldwide excluding Asia).
